At Equanimity, I want you to feel free.
Free to talk openly. Free to express yourself.
Free to make the most of your sessions with me and feel the benefits.
That's why what you discuss with me is confidential.
The only time that confidentiality will be broken is if you disclose any information which I believe puts you or another person at risk of serious harm; or if I was liable to court proceedings if I didn't disclose information. Wherever and whenever possible, I will share my concerns with you before discussing them with other professionals, such as your GP.
All client information is treated with confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. I'll discuss my confidentiality policy with you before your consultation begins, and address any worries you might have from the outset.
I abide by the code of ethics as set out by the British Psychological Society.
If you'd like to know more about my confidentiality policy, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I'm always happy to answer any questions you wish to ask.
Please contact me.
